WILLIAM PEELING Obituary

PEELING (BILL / BILLY / MR. DUDES), WILLIAM G. December 18, 1947 - April 22, 2021 Bill passed away at Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario, in the loving company of his devoted partner Shawn Hisko and his much-loved daughter Lisa Peeling. Bill was predeceased by his parents Lucy and Arthur Peeling. He leaves his sister Janice Conroy, and brothers Doug Peeling and Bob Peeling. Billy was a caring, fun loving, generous person. He loved being busy, especially in the outdoors during his many happy years with Shawn at the cottage on Baxter Lake. On De Grassi St., puttering in the garden making things just right, with nary a weed going unplucked. In earlier years, he loved motorcycling and later years loved cycling. Prior to Bill's retirement, he specialized in general contracting, space planning, design, while offering personal assistance to a dear friend for many years. Special thanks to his friends Bryan and Jim of Long Point, ON where he has resided during the COVID restrictions, along with an amazing Palliative Care Team and PSWs of Norfolk County. A private online celebration of life is planned for early May. He'll be greatly missed by his family and friends. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Sakura House would be much appreciated by the family.
