YOSEPH TESFAYE M.D.

TESFAYE, M.D., YOSEPH September 10, 1939 - September 21, 2022 Passed away peacefully, on September 21, 2022, in his 83rd year, surrounded by his children, at Carpenter House in Burlington, Ontario. He was born in Asmara, Eritrea, in September 1939. He obtained a PhD in biochemistry from McGill University in 1969 and M.D. in 1979 from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He worked as an esteemed doctor throughout Quebec, until his retirement in 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Adhanet Dawit, and will be missed dearly by his children, Andreas (Rachel) and Luwam (Jay); and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Keelia, Asmara, Veda, Adina, Ziva and Lucas. We will be forever grateful to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital and it's Oncology Clinic and Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, Ontario, whose care and compassion will forever be appreciated.
