It is with a profound sense of loss that we say goodbye to the greatest mother anyone could be blessed to have. Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, Yvonne Jane Farhat in her 59th year courageously took her last breath surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of Joseph Farhat. Loving mother of Michel (Katarzyna), Melanie (Youssef), Alexander (Amanda), Jolene and Alexis (Anthony). Dear sister of Bernadette Assaf and Diane Sanderson. Cherished cousin, aunt and great- aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Bernard Sanderson, her brother Tony Sanderson and her parents-in-law Michel and Wadia Farhat. Yvonne will be remembered as a mother figure, friend and inspiration to many; her resilience, kindness and compassion for others leaves an everlasting impact. Yvonne's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at LHSC for their tremendous efforts and support during her battle with pancreatic cancer. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church, 267 Adelaide Street South, London on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
