Alfred Uliski Obituary

It is with great sadness the family of Alfred Uliski share his passing at Dauphin General Hospital after a short illness. Alfred was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. He left school early to find employment and was a Jack of all Trades till finding employment as a nickel miner in Thompson, Manitoba. He married Genevieve Schimnosky in 1954. They had 4 children Marie, Gary, Kathy and Sandra who joined him in Thompson in 1961. Alfred enjoyed many activities but his favourite was shooting the breeze with friends standing around the mall waiting for the wife or having coffee. The joy of his life were his four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Alfred is survived by his daughter Marie, son-in-law Neil Spencer, daughter-in-law Diana Uliski, grandchildren Mandy Spencer (Grant) great grandsons Dylan and Grayson Safronetz, Jason Spencer, Jennifer Spencer (Danny) , Shawn Uliski, his mother Kathy Rodgerson and step children Sherry (Dennis) and Shayne (Dee Dee). His brother Art (Marilyn) Uliski and family, Mildred(Gordon) King and family, Marianne Frerichs and family, Martha Richards and family and Dolores (Allan) Jaeb and family. Sister-in-Laws. Brenda Newell and Zan Schimnosky. Also many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of over forty years Genevieve, his parents Steve and Dorthy Uliski. His children Gary Uliski and Sandra Spencer, Kathy Uliski followed him in death on October 20, 2024. His brothers Ervin Uliski and Levern Uliski. And a sister in childhood. His in-laws , Al Frerichs and Al Richards. Vincent and Phyllis Schimnosky, Frances and Bernie Lowen, Margaret and Norbert Gerwing, Maryann and Bill Greschuk, Alfred Schimnosky, Eleanor Kuzma, Eileen Kerr, and Clara Saretsky.
He was proceeded by his wife Frances in 2023.
He will be interred at a future date in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. If desired in lieu of flowers please contribute to a Charity of Your Choice.
