It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Marie Gabriel Mercier at the age of 70.
Claude was born to parents George and Bernadette on October 23, 1950 in Tisdale Saskatchewan.
Claude worked as a Miner at INCO in Thompson, and Farley Pit in Lynn Lake. He was a business owner/operator Arthur Hotel in Plumas and Sobey's Bakery in Lynn Lake. After working as a Maintenance Man in Lynn Lake, and Estevan, Sask he retired in 2015.
Claude enjoyed Curling, playing baseball with the Plumas Pirates, volunteer Firefighter with the Lynn Lake Dept, fishing and his passion wood working.
He was predeceased by his father George and mother Bernadette.
Claude is survived by his wife Linda. Daughter Lisa and Son-in-law Gary of Thompson, MB son Lawrence and daughter-in-law Jennifer of Edmonton, Alb. Grandsons Michael, Liam & Jacob; Granddaughters Kayla, Sarah and Annika; Great granddaughter Kennedy; Great grandson Charlie; Sisters Lucienne Danelko of Ottawa, Ont, Marie (Laurent) of Zenon Park, Sask; Brothers Gus (Pam) of Edmonton, Alb Roger (Estelle) of Zenon Park, Sask and many nieces' nephews and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow at a later date.
