Danielle Adams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danielle Adams on Thursday December 9, 2021, due to a tragic accident.
Danielle was born in Edmonton Alberta on September 24, 1983, to Mom Jody Levy and Father Donald Adams. She was also a big sister to her brother Tim Adams. Danielle moved to Thompson Manitoba when she was 11 years old with her mom and brother and developed many lasting and dedicated friendships over the years.
In 2006, Danielle met the love of her life Bill Morris and was a devoted mother to her two boys Nic (13) and Joe (6). She was very involved in the boys' lives, taking them skiing at Mystery Mountain each weekend, family bowling nights, game nights and family trips. She talked often about a trip to Disneyland.
Danielle had many jobs in the city of Thompson, starting her working career at McDonald's, and the Burntwood Hotel. Danielle became the assistant to Member of Parliament Niki Ashton in 2008, which eventually led to Danielle becoming a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba representing the NDP party in 2019, making history as the first female MLA in our region. Danielle served on many Boards of Directors and committees. She loved being a part of the community and helping where she could and loved taking on challenges and representing her constituents and many communities in Northern Manitoba and fought passionately for Early Learning and Childcare in Manitoba.
If there is one thing you should know about Danielle is that she loved and was loved. She loved life, her family, friends and community and was loved right back.
Anyone that knew Danielle understood what a huge heart she had and how quick she was to join in a cause. Danielle was the first one to show up to support her family and friends in their times of need and celebrations. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays and she loved to dress up each year with some of the most creative ideas. Her laughter was contagious and her enthusiasm endless especially when it came to her questionable Jell-O shots, but she definitely made up for them with a "Mean Sangria!"
Danielle leaves to mourn, her husband Bill Morris, son Nic - 13, son Joe - 6, mom Jody Levy, stepdad John Heath, Dad Donald Adams, stepmother Stacey Adams, brother Tim Adams (Candace Fitzgerald) and numerous extended family members and friends.
Danielle was a supporter of many charities and organizations, in lieu of flowers please donate to a non-profit charity of your choice.
