William Clement Obituary
In loving memory of William (Bill) Clement (93). Passed away peacefully at home February 9, 2024, with by his side, his wife of 34 years, Dr. Claire Beauchemin, his son (Kenneth Charles), his granddaughter (Kate Gervais) and his great-granddaughter (Cassandra Gervais).
Bill was a brilliant man from modest beginnings. He was born and raised in Copper Cliff where he attended elementary and secondary school. He then went to the University of Toronto from which he received his mechanical engineering degree in 1954.
Bill was the past president of INCO including of the Manitoba division, of PT INCO in Indonesia and finally of the Ontario division from which he retired in the early 1990s. As a strong and dedicated community member of this region, he served on several boards, such as those of Laurentian Hospital, Laurentian University and Ontario Northland.
Donations may be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice for the at-home palliative care program. Messages of condolences may be sent to Lougheed's Funeral Home www.lougheedfuneral homes.com
In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to Lougheed Funeral Home
