Rest in peace Al
Thanks for teaching me all those JUDO Moves when I was a kid, they came in real handy later when I was in the Military and later when I joined you at the B.C. Pen in 1974.

You were one great guy, sorry I missed your memorial service but I'll make it up to you someday

Rest in peace.

Herb.

Hi Wanda, sorry to hear about Al. We go back a long ways from Riverview and judo and living together. He was a good friend and politician and devoted judoist. He will be greatly missed by the people he touched in his life.

Many years ago when I was a part time Doctor at the BC Pen. I met an Al Hadvick. He introduced me to how things work and made sure I was safe at all times. He had the respect of the entire staff as well as the inmates.
He was an amazing young man. When ever I discuss my many experiences at the BC Pen I always mention his name.
I am sure that everyone who met him feels the same way.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing and pass along my heartfelt condolences.
