Alexander HERON Obituary

HERON The Rev. Alexander (Wing Commander ret'd) passed away peacefully at home October 18, 2004 at the age of 76. He was an Anglican priest from 1953 to 1988, including 17 years as an RAF Chaplain in England, Cyprus, Singapore and West Berlin. Ordained in the Roman Catholic Church in 1991, he served in hospital chaplaincy until illness forced his retirement in 1995, and he moved to Vancouver Island. He is survived by Audrey, his wife of 50 years; children, Theresa Hill (Michael), Anthony (Jennifer), Gregory (Valerie), Michael, David (Tina); brother, Lawrence and seven grandchildren. Funeral October 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, Toronto. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity is suggested.
