Alexander Macintyre Obituary
Alexander Macintyre passed away peacefully just short of his 94th birthday. Born in Edmonton he spent most of his adult life in Victoria. Alex loved his family and was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was particularly proud of his time spent as the Purchasing Agent for Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Victoria. Predeceased by his loving wife Olive, he will be sorely missed by his daughters Margaret (Bill), Patti (Jason) and Mary (George). He was an exceptional "Papa" to his ten grandchildren, Anna (Scott), William, Ellis (Amy), Sasha (Annie), Simon, Elizabeth (Kyle), Rebecca (Leigh), Annie (Mitchell), David (Cathleen) and Jacob plus his great grandchildren Ella, Victoria, Ivy, Brooklyn and Silas. He will also be missed by his dear companion Robin who brought much joy to his later life. Alex was a man of deep faith and integrity and if you met him you would be touched by his kindness and sense of humour.
Thank you to all the staff and friends at Rose Manor and Church of Our Lord and to Dr. Peter Innes, Dr. T. Hamilton and Dr. S. Shortt
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever"
