Alexander MACLEOD Obituary

MACLEOD Alexander (Alex) Edwin passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, on June 28, 2004, following a brave battle with cancer. Born in Edmonton on June 8, 1922, Alex is survived by the mother of his children, Mae MacLeod (Kelowna, BC); daughters, Janice Creason (Jim), Heather Clark (Garnet), Rhonda Couchman (Mike) and Sheila MacLeod; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank, Ken and Malcolm. He was predeceased by his second wife Rita Brown. Visitation will be held at MCCALL BROS. CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Thursday, July 1, 2004 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. A Celebration of Alex's life will be held at Berwick House, 1665 Feltham Road, on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Private urn interment on Salt Spring Island.
