It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrea Marie Cecilia Hall, who peacefully departed from this world on Thursday, June 22, 2023, after a year-long battle with cancer. She was 64 years old.
Andrea was born on September 6, 1958, in Victoria, B.C., to her loving parents Gordon and Kathleen Hall. She was the fifth of eight children, and her presence brought immense joy and warmth to her family.
Completing her education at Mount Douglas High School, Andrea continued to pursue her passion for public health, earning a diploma from B.C.I.T. Her career as a dedicated Public Health Inspector in the greater Victoria area left a lasting impact on the community she served.
Andrea was a devoted mother, and her memory will forever be cherished by her beloved children, Nathan (Jenna) D'Arcy, Winston (Alice) D'Arcy, and Katie Hall, as well as her adoring grandchildren, Morgan, Lynden, Josiah, and Julia, who held a special place in her heart.
Beyond her professional accomplishments and devotion to family, Andrea found joy in preparing meals for loved ones, tending to her garden, and embracing all that life had to offer.
Andrea will be deeply missed by her surviving siblings: her brother Anthony Hall (Julie Hall), her sister Therese Bullin (Stewart Bullin), her sister Kathleen Hall (Don Benka), and her sister Genny Williams (Gord Williams).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Kathleen Hall, her sister Maura Bourdon, and her brothers Gregory and Christopher. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, dear friends, and a host of individuals whose lives she profoundly touched.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the medical teams at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Hospice, and Palliative Care for their compassionate support.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrews Cathedral on June 29 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a memorial gathering at Royal Oak Burial Park. The reception will be held at McCalls in Royal Oak after the burial service.
Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Andrea's remarkable life.

I express my deepest sympathy to Andrea's family members and friends on her passing. I recall celebrating many events with the Hall family at their beautiful home, such as family weddings and garden parties. My fondest memory will always be sharing our summer vacations at Qualicum Beach where we enjoyed our adventures immensely! Thank you to Andrea's entire family for sharing your lives and for all the glorious memories.

Sincere condolences to all Andrea's family members and friends - we have lost a talented, caring and very funny human being. I was fortunate to enjoy many happy days and evenings with the Hall family, at Christmas parties, garden parties, family weddings and the incredible summer adventures at Qualicum Beach when the Goode family and Hall family swam, laughed, ate and spent countless happy hours on the beach. Andrea's love of life was evident right away and will stay in my memory forever. Much love to all who are mourning this loss in our lives.

We both were hired at Island Health at the same time. She often had a boisterous laugh. When I recently saw her , she spoke fondly of her family and
had a good chuckle about her horseback incident on Mayne Island.

I hold fond memories of the entire HALL family whom we spent many summers camping at Qualicum Beach.. Andrea was always so much fun!!
