Andrew and I used to swim together with the Victoria Kingfish. We were close in age and swam at the same practice time. The last summer we swam together (it would have been 2004 I believe), he had tennis elbow. His elbow was swollen and I recall him poking at it and grossing everyone out. It still makes me chuckle when I think about it.

The last time I saw Andrew was nearly 10 years ago on the pediatrics unit at the Victoria General Hosital. I was working there as an RN and he was going through med school. We caught up briefly and I remember thinking how neat it was to bump into him and learn what he was doing in life.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Andrew's passing and my heart goes out to his family. I will always remember him as a kind man with a good sense of humor.

Dr. Nick there are no words and I understand what a horrific loss this is for you and your family.
Andrew accomplished so much in his life. He loved his family and he was passionate about everything he did.
To Jen, Bailey and Ryan he has left an incredible legacy and impacted so many lives. You have a strong support group let them help. Be strong but take the time you need to to grieve, remember and know you have people around you that will help you through the next few days, weeks and months. Take care

Andrew was a true gentleman. He was a best friend, a mentor, a leader, and a beautiful person all around. He treated all things with respect, kindness, and care.

Andrew showed so many people that there is still humility, humbleness, and kindness in this world.

He was such a strong part of so many lives and memories, and will be cherished through the lives of so many people.

Andrew has brought so much to this world, and leaves a legacy of love for all those who knew him. He will always be in the hearts of all he met.

Sending our deepest condolences at the loss of Andrew. It's been a long time since our paths crossed in minor hockey but I remember Andrew and parents well. Sending a lot of 'caring thoughts'
