Ann Howard Obituary

HOWARD, Ann
July 4, 1945 - September 5, 2023

Ann Howard, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 5th, 2023, at the age of 78. Her journey through life was filled with love, adventure, and faith.

Ann was born to Edward and Margaret Lewis on July 4, 1945. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. Ann was an extraordinary wife to Ron, their enduring love a testament to the strength of their bond for 52 years. She was a dedicated and loving mother to Jennifer (Mike) LeVecque and Jeff (Tara) Howard, and a cherished grandmother to Payton, Joel, Sam, Finley, Matt, and London.

In her younger years, Ann embarked on adventures that took her to Europe, Montreal, and across the United States, gathering experiences and stories that enriched her life. In 1971, she exchanged vows with Ron, and together, they welcomed two beautiful children into their lives. Ann's career as a nurse exemplified her selflessness, as she cared for others while simultaneously being a devoted wife and mother.

Ann's heart was most content when surrounded by her family and lifelong friends. Her faith provided her with comfort and hope, and she left this world with the anticipation of reuniting with her beloved parents.

Ron, her loving husband, left a heartfelt message for his Annie: "If there was ever anyone that deserved everlasting peace and love, it would be my wife, Annie Howard. I have found her to be the most loving, caring, and forgiving person ever. Love forever OXOXO."

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific. It will be a time to remember and honor Ann's life, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Please join us in celebrating a life well-lived.

Ann's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, love, and indomitable spirit will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Ann´s passing. She was a lovely woman. My Dad stayed with Ron and Ann in Gold River many years ago and Ann was so good to my Dad. I´m so glad I ran into Ann and her grandson at a concert at Government House 5 or 6 years ago and they were up dancing together. My sincerest sympathies to Ron and all her family.
