Our deepest sympathies to all of you during this difficult time. Inspite of her pain, Aunt Anne seemed contented and at peace when we saw her at Luther Court in June, 2007. She still had her great sense of humour and interesting stories, as we laughed and chatted together.
With love and prayers, especially as you gather as a family this weekend.

I've known and worked with Sandy for several years (even when she was a "Fox", as well as (briefly) with Marlene at the Crown Counsel office. They spoke fondly of their mom and shared life experiences. The family has lost a matriarch. Sandy,Rick,Tara,Marlene and the extended family, my condolences and thoughts are with you at this time. May you find comfort in happy memories.

I last saw Aunt Anne in 2002 on a trip out west with my dad and her sense of humour was as keen as ever. I guess that comes from having nine other siblings (including six brothers) who in her opinion needed keeping in line from time to time! On behalf of our family, we offer our condolences on her passing and also want to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had a great visit back in the summer of 1975 when — as a teenager — I took the Greyhound to/from Victoria to visit my cousin Lorne. Aunt Anne made that summer memorable, and I'll never forget the wonderful times we had touring around the various sights of the city. I last saw Aunt Anne at her 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1998 (the last time I travelled to Victoria) and I'm sorry I didn't get back to see her one last time. My condolences to everyone.

We will be thinking of you on Friday, and on many times in the future when your Mom's name or picture brings back a beautiful memory.
