Anne O'Gorman Obituary

O'GORMAN, Anne Louise
June 17th, 1940 - September 20th, 2025
Passed away peacefully but much too soon in her sleep in her home in Saanich, B.C.
Predeceased by her ever loving husband Andy and their daughter Tracy, she is survived by their children Dan, Kerry (Tom), Jeff (Diedree) and son in law Steve Waller. Anne loved and cherished all 9 grandchildren Aja (Paul), Meaghan (Nick), Rachel, Stephanie, Nicholas, Hannah, Julianna, Brayden and Isabella.
Her kind, generous nature and her lovely smile will be truly missed by her large family and friends on the Island, in Ontario and abroad.
An artist at heart, her creativity was spread to many and was always a joy to witness.
Many thanks to local RCMP and Paramedics.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broken Promises or Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary.

In 2001, we had the great fortune of purchasing Anne and Andy´s home in Fernwood. They gave us a little card welcoming us to our new home. The card has remained on our bulletin board ever since and we see it every day. Anne and Andy described the wonderful memories the home held for them and we knew we would do our best to carry on their legacy of care for friends, family and neighbours. Almost 25 years later, we still love living in their former home and have a close community of neighbours and friends on the street. We are so grateful to Anne and Andy for being the kind, generous people they were and setting such a wonderful example of how to be good neighbours.

Dearest neighbour of all!
You have left us to the Elysian fields - Hercules is thereafter placed in good hands. Your beautiful soul is present in the peaceful garden of your earthly home and in the minds of all whom you touched in numerous ways.

Anne was a neighbour who became a dear friend. Her love of her family, animals and art was a gift to all who knew her. I will miss her always- rest well my dear friend.
