Antonio Luis Medeiros Cabecinha

Antonio (Tony) Luis Medeiros Cabecinha passed away peacefully with family by his side, on February 9th, 2026, at the age of 71. Born in Lagoa, São Miguel, Azores to parents José and Maria São João (Oliveira) Cabecinha, both deceased.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and lovingly remembered by his children, Brandon and Desiree (Teri), and his step-grandson, Owen.
Also survived by his brother Frank (Ann), sister Filomena (Luis), his nieces (Ashley, Serena, Melissa, Jennifer), nephew (Adrian), and many cherished cousins.
Tony was a devoted and beloved father and husband, a truly gentle and kind soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was rarely without a warm smile, a touch of mischievous humour, a classic dad joke, or the know-how to fix or build just about anything. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends, whose love and presence meant the world to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady of Fatima, Portuguese Hall, 4635 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria BC on March 7th, 2026, at 1:00pm.
