Astrid Nuttall

NUTTALL, Astrid Olive September 19, 1930 January 3, 2008 Astrid, a kind, gentle and loving soul, passed away peacefully into the welcoming arms of her Lord and her beloved mother, Astrid Arne (1984). Mom amazed us all and fought her lengthy illness with quiet determination and dignity. She was a "prairie girl" born from a proud Norwegian background during the Depression. Mom had a delightful sense of humour and laugh that we all shall miss so much. Astrid is remembered by her children, Kevin (Sian), Sandra, David (Laura) and their father, Ken Nuttall. She was very proud of her wonderful grandchildren, Drew, Meghan, Scott, Emily and Sarah. She is also cherished by her sister, Ruth Markley; brothers, Clifford and Leif Arne; and her dear friend, Betty Buttle of Calgary. Astrid was predeceased by her sister, Irene Naylor and her brother, Anker Arne. A private family service will follow at a later date. 437214
