Yesterday

Barbara was the first hostess to invite me into her home when I arrived in Canada in 1987. She remained a generous hostess, and was a supportive friend, not only to my late husband, but also to me - and an inspiring fellow birder. I cherish my memories of starting the year birding with her, Bob and Lyn. I recall fondly the stories she told about her growing up years, which introduced me to a fascinating facet of BC history.
May you rest in peace, dear Barbara!
Lyn's children join me in sending our thoughts and deepest sympathy to Bob and family.

Barbara was a valued member of the Embroiderers' Guild of Victoria. She was always cheerful and pitched in to help in many ways. Barbara loved teaching the young at the yearly Brownies and Guides sessions. Condolences to her family.
