It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Barbara Waters on August 4th, 2023 in Parksville, BC.
Barbara was born on June 20, 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she grew up as a young child until moving to Victoria with her family at the age of 12.
She is survived by her loving children; Laura (Geoffrey), Raymond (Julie), and Julie, her grandchildren Liam, Abbigail, Rebecca and Jeremy. Great-grandchildren Donavan and Carmyn. Sisters; Susan, Joanne, and Jackie, and brother; Jim, and her many nieces and nephews.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents, son-in-law Geoffrey and her sister Sandra.
The most important thing to Barbara in her life was the love and care she shared for others. Whether it be her family whom she was very close with, or complete strangers, she put others first. Barbara was a true savior of lost souls and a natural homemaker. She was also very proud to be 44 years sober and a loyal member AA.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16th at Sands Funeral Chapel Colwood at 12:00pm with a reception to follow. 317 Goldstream Ave, Victoria BC.
