BERT VELD Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we must announce the passing of our dear Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Janet in 2010. Missed dearly by his daughter Netty Milos (Ken) and son Louis Veld (Janet). Survived by his children Netty Milos (Ken), Louis Veld (Janet), B.J. Veld, Gerda Veld, and grandchildren Wendy (Jim), Leanne (Scott), Matt (Annette) and Dave (Mandy), Desiree, Chelsea and 8 great-grandchildren.
Bert was well known as a basket-maker in the Town of Sidney BC and often attended the Farmer's Markets on the Saanich Peninsula.
A huge thank you to staff of the ECU2 in Saanich Peninsula Hospital for their tender loving care. A private memorial will be held with close family only. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Saanich Peninsula Extended Health Care Unit.

We really enjoyed seeing Bert at the Peninsula Country Market with his beautiful baskets. I have several of them that I continually use.
Bert will always be remembered.
