Beverlee SEALEY Obituary

It is with immense heartbreak that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Beverlee on July 5th. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bob; daughter, Kimberley; sister, Loralee; sister-in-law, Trudi; niece, Jenna; and nephew, Jesse (Carolyn and Luke). Also mourning the loss are stepdaughters, Stephanie and Sarah; and grandchildren, Ishaq, Hanna, Ben, and Brianna. Bev was predeceased by her parents, Elva and Stan, as well as her brothers Wayne and Scott.

Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Bev moved to Victoria in 1966. She graduated from Oak Bay High School and earned a BA and MBA at the University of British Columbia. Her altruistic nature led to a respected career with the Ministry of Health in Victoria until retirement in 2022.

Bev was smart, hardworking and fun-loving! She was as capable and confident in a business meeting as she was lighthearted and lively in gatherings with friends and family. Her easy open laugh and positive outlook on life will be missed.

Plans for a celebration of life will be made later. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Bev's memory to the Kidney Foundation. https://kidney.ca/

I knew Bev at UBC in the seventies. We kept in touch thereafter. She was generous, tough, serenely optimistic and funny. I miss her already. My condolences to her family and friends on a major loss.

I have so many lovely memories of Bev at high school, fierce with field hockey stick in hand; off-field so much fun and such a lovely, kind person. Though our paths didn't cross often as adults, I was always interested to hear news of Bev as she lived a life anyone would be proud to have lived. She leaves a Bev-shaped hole in the world and in my heart, but the thought of her makes me smile. May their many happy memories bring solace to her family and friends.

My deepest sympathy Bob and Kim for the loss of your beautiful Bev. It has always been an honour and pleasure to be friends and neighbours with her. I will miss her puttering around the garden, watering and weeding, and admiring her glorious blooms. As well her cheery good mornings and chats about life. Will miss you terribly Bev.

We will all miss our neighbour and longtime friend. Our children grew into adults in Bev´s garden and yard. Bev and Bob were always available to help when a helping hand was needed. We all miss Bev and know her family will too. Your garden will always be a happy place
