Beverly passed away in Victoria, BC on the afternoon of December the 8th, 2025. Following a hard two year fight with cancer. Born to Olaf and Doris Wick on July 31, 1946.
With passion for education, she earned her degree from the University of British Columbia in 1967. Thereafter, Beverly's career reflects her true dedication and versatility serving as a training manager at Safeway, marketing agent at Saanich Credit Union, the president of Westbrook Home Hardware, and as a travel agent and tour guide. She left a lasting impact on her community through her involvement in the Juan de Fuca Chamber of Commerce, Langford Enhancement Society, National Hardware Association, Belmont Business Association, and the Western Community Seniors Low-Cost Housing Society. Through her fulfillment of all of these roles, she leaves a legacy of inspiration, innovation, compassion, and curiosity. Most importantly she was a loving wife, sibling, mother and Grandmother.
Beverly is now resting in peace. A celebration of life will be held at Royal Colwood Golf Course in Victoria on February 7, 2026 starting at 1:00pm. Donations instead of flowers to the BC Cancer Society will be graciously accepted.
