Bob MacDOUGALL Obituary

"Leader of the Pack"
Bob left us suddenly on October 18th, 2021, after a courageous battle with heart disease. His loving son, Shawn, close by.
Bob was born the first of five in Hamiota, Manitoba.
His childhood was spent playing hockey and baseball, which became lifetime passions. Bob adored all sport. Monday night football at Red's with his brothers and good friends was a given. Go Steelers!
Bob moved to Victoria in 1974 with his young family and worked for Universal Roofing throughout his career. He maintained extremely close ties with his siblings, Heather, Alan (Joan), Laurie (Gary) and Brian (all Islanders). Bob was well loved by his grandchildren Haley and Hannah, niece, nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Don and Lee MacDougall.
We will miss Bob's wit, intelligence, generosity, and irrepressible ability to make us laugh. Great love, great loss.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Bob was a huge roll model for me as a teenager and young man in the work force. He was good man, a good boss and an even better worker, right till they day he retired. He will be missed.

The Hip, he was just one of the most funniest, and hardest working guys ever. My condolences.
