I just learned of Brent's passing today. I am shocked and saddened for his friends and family. Brent and I worked together at Thriftys. He was always so friendly and nice to chat with. He and my young grand daughter, Riley had a connection that was fun. She is shy but he always engaged with her at what ever her comfort level was. After I retired I looked forward to seeing Brent at work still. I had heard recently that he had retired and I was so happy for him! I am so sorry that he didn't get to enjoy his retirement as he deserved.

Sincere and heartfelt condolences to Colleen and family, so sorry for your loss, gone too soon and too young. Brent truly was a special human being, giving so much to so many without hesitation. I was fortunate to be one of the people made better for knowing him and for that I am eternally grateful. I´m honoured to have worked for and with Brent for many years, I will always remember his "teachable moments" and beautiful bright smile. As a leader, friend and colleague, he was always there for you and had your back no matter what. His legacy of selflessly being in service to others will always be remembered. A special human being has a special place in my heart. Thank you for sharing Brent with us!
