Brian Chapman Obituary

CHAPMAN, Brian Brian passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 74 years. He was predeceased by his son, Rodney and by his parents, Rev. Ted and Helen Chapman. Brian is survived by his loving family, brother, Bruce (Marg) and sister, Cherie (Clive) Kahn, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Brian served for 27 years in the Saanich Police Force retiring as a Sergeant. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Redwood Chapel at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the Victoria First Church of the Nazarene, 4277 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallgardens.com

Sad to hear of Brian's passing. He was in class 1 of the B.C. Police College (now BCJI) There were 6 Saanich, 6 Victoria & 2 Esquimalt members. We had a great time training together. Rest in peace Brian.

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants" Psalm 116:15.

I remember Brian as a diligent and faithful servant for many years on the Saanich Police Department, and he was always a gentle gentleman, indeed. Rest in eternal peace, Brian; you have earned it.

My sincere condolences to the Chapman family.
