I have waited awhile before I wrote this. I had the privilege of having Brian involved in my life for over 30 years. It started with him as a stranger then a friend, close friend, best friend and then a brother. My kids were proud to call him Uncle Brian and did to the last day even though they are grown up.You cannot summarize a person in a few words so I will not even try.My heart goes out to Bruce and Sue and everyone who had the great luck to call Brian a friend. You are missed more and more every day. Life will not be the same without you. There is not enough room in this site to even begin to say what I want.
We love you and miss you.

My deepest sympathy to Brian's family.

I first met Brian when I moved into the 'hood ' three years ago. We used to chat when he walked by with his dog. Brian was a really nice person and cared about everyone that lived on this street. I can still see him driving the 'deer' and cutting the lawns. Just the other day his dog 'took off' into the park and I had a chance to help everyone chase him back, Brian said, the dog never does that, we laughed...........
I can speak for everyone on Malaview - Brian will be missed.
Godspeed

Bruce, Susan and Family,

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your son. I knew Brian as his First Aid instructor in Sidney on many occassions. I also remember him well from his visits to Safeway as a youngster when we worked together and fondly through your many stories during his childhood years.

We can't imagine the grief of losing a child and just know we are thinking of you at this hard time.

Brian will be so missed by all of the lives he touched during his short time here. He was a special friend and a big brother to me since I was 14 years old. He was a compassionate, warm and gentle soul. I will miss him terribly.

My sincere condolences to Bruce and Sue , Kathy, Kevin and Karen and all his closest friends that will most feel the void he left. Remember his smile, his laugh and his kindness.
