Bruce Moncur Obituary

MONCUR, Bruce Thomas "Tom" March 28, 1953 August 11, 2006 At his mothers home, surrounded by his family Tom sighed his last sigh and released his spirit in peace. His body no longer active, Tom's spirit continues to dwell in us all. "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one." -John Lennon Beloved son of Lorraine, Victoria, B.C and Barry, Peachland, B.C., sisters Susan, Adrianne and brother Brian, wife Heather, son Tony, daughter Veronica and stepson Connor. The family welcomes those who knew and loved Tom to join in a celebration of his life on Friday, August 18th, 4pm at the Portuguese Hall, 4635 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria B.C. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to those who supported and cared for Tom during his illness. Lorraine Moncur 282324

Our sincerest thoughts go out to Tom's family and loved ones. He was a man with great intentions who had his life taken far too soon.

From before I could walk or talk Bruce and his family were in my life and will remain in my heart. He gave me laughter, encouragement and his name. I remember ice cream, reading the sunday comics together, walks in the forest, and swimming on his back in the lake. He is a hero to my brother Tony, the only father figure I ever had and for that I am thankful. He touched my heart, my spirit, and my life and he will forever hold a place in my thoughts. I send warmth and well wishes to the family he leaves behind, and who I know cherish him as my brother and I do.
