Mike and Alison visited Sidney, British Columbia for the winter of 2015 where Mike fell in love with Vancouver Island. They then moved to Victoria later that year. Mike loved to go on long walks and enjoyed the ocean and mountain views, and, needless to say, the milder winters. Mike was a former golfer and had enjoyed travelling to play on beautiful courses in Scotland, Southern California, Hilton Head Island, and Jasper and Banff National Parks, to name just a few. Mike will be dearly missed by his family and friends who are consoled by the thought that he now rests peacefully in God's loving arms. Farewell By Anne Bronte Farewell to Thee! But not farewell To all my fondest thoughts of Thee; Within my heart they still shall dwell And they shall cheer and comfort me. Life seems more sweet that Thou didst live And men more true Thou wert one; Nothing is lost that Thou didst give. Nothing destroyed that Thou hast done. Condolences may be offered to the family at
