My deepest condolences to the Porcher family on the loss of Carey!! I was so sad to hear about this! Carey was a good friend of mine in high school and we would talk numerous times over the phone. I have very fond memories of him and it was nice to reconnect on Facebook years later. His brother Mace was in the same grade as me in high school and I would like to personally extend my condolences to Mace and his family. I also send my deepest sympathy to Carey's children, and the rest of the Porcher family!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Very nice "Celebration of Life" gathering in Comox yesterday. Hearing from people whose lives he deeply touched, warmed my heart that his presence is within those he touched, including me.

I briefly knew Carey when we attended NIC together. He was full of life and was someone who you knew would follow his dreams wherever they took him. All the best to his loved ones, RIP Carey.

I was saddened to hear of Carey's passing, we went to Junior High together grades 9&10. You never missed him in the halls, a big guy with even a bigger smile and laugh. He'll be remembered by many including the Cedar High Alumni. Thinking of his family and friends.
