Carlos da SILVA Obituary

da SILVA, Carlos Carlos passed away peacefully at Kiwanis Pavilion on July 18, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Born in Sao Miguel Azores on May 25, 1932, he is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Valentina; lovingly remembered by his children; Paul da Silva (Sarah) and Ana Marie (Duarte) Martins and grandchildren; Victoria and Olivia Martins , Nicole and Jeremy da Silva. Prayers will be offered from Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4635 Elk Lake Drive on Monday July 25th at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Tuesday July 26th at 11:00am. Interment at Royal Oak Burial Park with a reception to follow at the church hall. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at the Kiwanis Pavilion for all of their kind care and support during Carlos' stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Alzheimer's Society at www.alzheimer.ca/bc. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

With love for his family. I never got to know him very well but when ever he saw my family we felt the love. Heaven is full of laughter as he is greeted by all the wonderful loved ones that went ahead of him.
