Casey O'Gorman Obituary


O'GORMAN, Casey Francis July 15, 1928 to January 26, 2010 "My love has gone away " Life partner and journey partner to Llona for 60 years, Casey has travelled on ahead into the Light, escorted to the portal by the music and love of his family. Casey was, for many years, Director of Engineering at Oak Bay Municipality and known for his innovative approach and mentoring of staff. He will be remembered for his adventurous and indomitable Spirit, his love of the great outdoors, and dedicated commitment to family. He will be greatly missed by Llona, nine wonderful adult children and their spouses, 23 grandchildren and 2 3/4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30 at First Memorial on 4725 Falaise Drive in Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Casey may be made to `Doctors Without Borders.' 576723
