I've known the Wormald family since I was eight years old when my family moved to Shelbourne Street. Cathy was a fun playmate, always coming up with ideas to amuse the kids in the neighbourhood. Dress-up and putting on "concerts" for the neighbours was my favourite. Cathy was so talented; she sang, danced, did gymnastics and played the piano.

We stayed in touch after my family moved to James Bay the next year. When my Mother started an
a Capella girls choir, The Constance Mary Singers, Cathy was a key member and along with her friend Joyce, sang harmony to all our songs. Many years later, Cathy and my Mother worked together at the Gorge Road Hospital.

Our paths crossed many times in later years when she moved to Cordova Bay. Cathy, Margaret and I were born within ten days of each other, so for several years we chose a day in December to get together for a fancy lunch or dinner to celebrate our birthdays.

I'm sorry I won't be able to travel to attend Cathy's funeral, but Jack and Lynn, Bob and Margaret, you will be in my thoughts.

When I joined the nursing staff on 2rehab Cathy was already an experienced and skilled rehab nurse.
I will always remember her kindness and professionalism. Years later it was always a happy occasion to run into out in the community.
My sincere condolences to all her family. May you be warmed, as I am, by fond and happy memories.
