Charmian WINCHESTER Obituary
Beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, passed on August 9, 2022 at Victoria General Hospital.
Born in Natal, South Africa, graduated (BA) from Natal University and married her sweetheart, Douglas Michael Winchester in 1951.
Raised four daughters, Sashi and Faye Winchester, Melanie (Michael) Bamping and Leigh (Paul) Miles.
Worked in the University library and alongside her husband in his photographic business even after he passed in 1993.
In 2000 emigrated to Victoria, BC, to live with her daughters.
An outgoing, gregarious spirit, she lived her faith, loved all things botanical, as well as church, gardening, ballet, music and poetry. But especially friends and family. "Love never fails." - Cor.13:8
