Christopher McNutt Obituary

McNUTT, Christopher William (Chris/Willy) Passed away unexpectedly the morning of February 4, 2021 in Victoria, BC. Christopher was born on April 4, 1989 in Amherst, NS. He then lived in Dartmouth, NS until the age of 4. Finally, he moved with his family to Victoria, BC in July 1994. He went to Victoria High School, where he met the love of his life, Kristy. Chris is survived by his fiancé Kristy Bedwell, and Warren Gauthier who was a father figure and friend for many years, mother Twyla McNutt-Hill, stepfather Graham, stepbrother Christopher. Chris and Kristy were proud members of the Defiance Car Club and made some lasting friendships. Chris loved the people and his job at the Brentwood Auto & Metal Recyclers. Chris was famous for helping a friend or a complete stranger in need. So many people reading this will have asked Chris to work on their Xbox, PS3, computer or on some mechanical issue with their car… YOU know you did! He would always drop everything and help where he could. Chris's huge heart, generous nature, and sense of humour will be deeply missed by all. The family is planning a celebration of life for Chris as soon as possible, when all his friends and family can safely gather, share memories and everyone can show off their cars.

Chris was not only a fantastic employee his was also friends with everyone at work. Everyone loved Chris. His good nature was something to be admired as he always seemed happy go lucky and easy going. He also never seemed to get angry regardless how frustrating and stressful things would get. He always kept his cool. We certainly not only miss him personally, he was also a huge loss to our company. He was so naturally skilled at so many things like fixing electronics, cars and broken equipment he also rarely missed a days work. We did feel bad for Kristy though as he was a bit if a pack rat. We would work out deals on parts and products that he would gather up to take home and there was A LOT of things that he took home.
He had a huge heart and would help anyone with anything.
We will always love him never forget him. He was such a great guy.
