CJ was a very persistent man who expected the best from people. It took thirteen tries to get up on those water skis and he wasn't stopping until it happened! Not to mention hiking the mountain in sandals. To the Pepper family, I am sorry to hear about CJ. There are many fond memories and I hold him in my heart.

Hi Julie. I don't know if you will remember me, but we 'hung out' at St Ann's in Gr 2!! I want to send my deepest condolences to you and all your family. My Dad passed on August 17th -- there really are no words at a time like this!!! Your Dad sounded like a really great father and friend -- memories are wonderful gifts that we have to hold onto. Take good care. Hugs

CJ was an amazing man and loved by all who knew him. We had the distinct pleasure of knowing him for about 40 years. We had the pleasure of using CJ and Marion's cabin at Lake Cowichan for many summers. We have such great memories thanks to this couple! He was a VIP customer at Wade's Auto Wrecking. So much so, that when he turned in his driver's licence Danny shut down the business!

CJ was truly an amazing man, who will be greatly missed! He was such a regular customer to Wade's Autowrecking that when he stopped driving Danny had to close down his business. Thank you both, also, for the many years that you let us stay in the cabin at the lake. Great memories!

I have many fond memories of Uncle Chris. He loved camping, family and friends. I remember how much he loved cooking on the old Colman camp stove and Bacon and Eggs was his speciality.
Ourcabin, Wayside,on Bowen Island, continues on today, because of the many projects he worked on, most notably with son in law, Herb.
Uncle Chris was a man of many talents and could make due in the Pepper fashion.
He touched us all and will be missed.
