One of a kind was Chris, "Uncle Chris" to my four young people - and what a legacy he has left us all...oh the memories which will last a lifetime and will be passed along to the next generation. For me he was a devoted husband to my sister Nora, caring and loving father to Tim and Greg adoring grandfather to Ben,Patrick,Carter and Olivia and fun-loving father-in law to Dawn and Laura - simply put - a kind and honourable Gentleman.

Chris was the best father in a law a girl could hope for. He was loving, generous and kind. He also knew how to tease me (take the mickey out of me) and make me laugh. My children Carter and Olivia (his princess) adored him as much as he adored them. I am so glad they decided to move to Sooke 5 years ago from Ontario, because we got so much time together as family and for that I will be forever grateful. My heart is aching but time and our wonderful memories together will heal it. Love you Pop Pop.......

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon the fields. And, Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand

Chris was an amazing man and I consider myself truly blessed to have been able to have him as my father in-law. Those of you who were lucky enough to know Chris know of the kind, generous, loving soul that he was. He was a loyal friend, devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. He will be forever missed.
