Cindy Fleming Obituary

FLEMING, Cindy Gone too Soon With heavy hearts, sadness and gratitude to God we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Cindy on August 20th, 2017 at her residence in Victoria, BC. She leaves us with a legacy of love, a passion for life and a light in our hearts. She was a devoted, selfless, proud and above all else a loving wife and mother. Her zest for life was palpable, appreciating all that life had to offer. She will be dearly missed by all those she touched and her loving spirit will live on forever. We are immortal Death is not the end, it can never be the end but death is the road. Life is a traveller; the soul is the guide Our mind thinks of death while our heart thinks of life but our soul thinks of immortality. She is survived by: Olawole Oni (husband), Emily Haynes (daughter), Spencer Tranter (son) and Shebaniah Oni (stepson). Viewing, sharing of memories, a celebration of life service and reception will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 from 10am-1pm at Sands Funeral Chapel and Reception, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC. Interment follows immediately after at Hatley Memorial Gardens, 2050 Sooke Road, Victoria, BC. We welcome Cindy's friends and family to come and share their memories. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

I knew Cindy at the dog park, with her beloved Coco and sometimes Olo, and just heard the tragic news. I remember her welcoming smile and friendly words, always looking perfectly dressed and ready for a good walk. Many of us will miss her warm presence. My condolences to her family.

Our hearts are saddened to hear of Cindy's passing. She was always such a happy, enthusiastic client as she brought her very loved dog, Coco, to us for daycare. All our sympathies to the family from all of Coco's friends at the Ranch.

How very sad to learn of Cindy's death when I read the paper this morning. She always had such positive energy when I was in the dentist office or ran into her about town. My condolences. This is such a shock. May she rest in peace.

We may not understand why God has decided to take you away from us. He loved you most. May He rest your soul in peace. The Lord gave and He has taken away.

So very sorry to hear this news. Cindy was a delightful addition to our GNS mom's weekends at Qualicum. We lost touch with our daughter's grown but more recently reconnected on Facebook. She always had a kind word to say and a wonderful positive outlook. My sincere condolences to her family.

Cindy. What can I say? You were the only dentist I ever had that made me laugh out loud while you were working on my teeth. Every visit with you made my day. And I'll never forget how compassionate you were when Gerry passed. Plus your fabulous designer shoes. You will be so missed by everyone.
