Clara WOOLSLEY Obituary

WOOLSLEY Clara Katherine (nee Thauberger) Passed away peacefully, while her grandson held her hand, on the 9th of April, after a long stay at VGH Helmcken. Born June 19,1919, in Saskatchewan, Clara enjoyed many years as a Nurse and teacher with the Sisters of St. Anne's and at St. Joe's Hospital in Victoria. Her nursing career took her to many towns throughout B.C. After retiring, Clara married Roy Woolsey, who passed away in December of 1992. She is predeceased by many of her brothers and sisters, but leaves her sister, Agnes, great-grand-daughter, Kyra (Clarke), grand-daughter, Lisa, (Frew), and grandson, Brent, (Frew) to mourn her. Her passion for painting was inspiring, and she is with the Angels that were often captured on her canvas. She will be dearly missed. Thank-you very much to the Nurses and Doctors at VGH, 7D, for their incredible kindness and patience.
