Just today in the local paper I came across notice of Cliff's passing. I have many memorable experiences of working with Cliff in a small detachment in NF in the 70's. Despite female members being new to the RCMP during that time, Cliff treated all equally and with respect. My sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.

Sympathies from the Karnes family in Woodstock, N.B. We knew Clifford and his mother and father and family when he lived on Chapel Street. I still think of them when I drive by their house. Clifford went to school with us and had a lot of friends in Woodstock.

I knew Clifford in high school in Woodstock and regret we were not able to get together when he lived in Victoria. My condolences to his family.

I saw that Cliff had passed away in the RCMP news summary today. I worked with Cliff in St. John's Nfld many years ago, and he called me a few years ago when he saw that I had built an aircraft, we had a couple of good conversations about flying and old friends from St. John's HP. RIP buddy.
