My sincere condolences to Family and Friends.

I knew Dan through remote work at Shared Services Canada (I reside in Manitoba). We worked on various successful efforts, and talked about the day we might soon meet. I much appreciated and respected Dan's "plain speak" to get to the heart of a problem, as well as his efforts to ensure solutions were best implemented to address them.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences on the passing of Dan. Dan and I worked together in the Data Centre Services Branch at Shared Services Canada. We had the same responsibilities but my region was Ontario. I never met him in person but we spent a great deal of time chatting on Microsoft Teams or by cell. I appreciated his candor and his expertise when we spoke about work but our conversations would often stray quickly from work to motorcycles as I am also an avid rider. He would talk about where he last rode and where he planned to go next. I would listen with a jealous heart as the riding season is much longer in BC and the scenery more majestic most of the time.
My prayers go out to those he left behind. He will be missed.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. My last conversation with Dan was of riding his new bike and living life for his daughters. The news of Dan quickly went through his old Lacrosse team mates and fond memories of Dan expressed by players and friends. Sincere condolences,
