The Twinn family & friends 2009 Light the Night Walk Team, Dan's Tribute, raised a total of $1,696.50 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We walked in memory of Dan and to raise funds for blood cancer research. This was our 2nd annual 5K walk for LLS. We were blessed with a beautiful night.

We are all very proud of Dan's work on the carpet logo for the Salmon King's dressing room. There is a $100 fine for any hockey player who steps on the logo. Should the carpet ever need to be removed from the dressing room, it will be placed in the Save-On-Foods Arena Hall of Fame.

Dan Twinn was a good man . A man whom would put others ahead of himself without second thought.He cared deeply for his family.Dan was a hard working man and passionate athlete.He hated to lose and as a teammate you would feel that in the dressing room.He was fun to hang with and had a great sence of humour.

Dan was an extraordinary man whose strength in the face of adversity was a lesson to us all. He gave the gift of life to his son and in so doing helped me to have the courage to do the same for my husband. Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and family.

Whenever I hear Dan's name I fondly think back to the teen years and the wonderful friend of my Brothers, who always had a smile and kind words to say.
He captured every bodies heart long before his son was even born. His love and kindness was just magnifed afterwards. I always felt he had a lucky wife/family.
