First met "Our Miss Daph" at work at Saanich Peninsula Hospital and later became friends with her, her hubby Fernie and their two children. She maintained an impeccable yard, with flowering plants and shrubs. Daphne's warmth, generosity and sense of fun were legendary. Communication in recent years had been sparse because of her hearing loss; now so sad to learn of her passing. A superb Nurse and citizen gone. My love and condolences to her family.

We will miss the wonderful visits with Daphne very much. She gave us a good deal of information on roses. Always had a minute to chat. We will miss Daphne's happy spirit, her lovely chuckle and smile. Sincere condolences to all. Doug & Sally Lang

Daphne was the sweetest, kindest person I've ever met. She was there to look after me when I awoke from surgery in the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, and I got to know her personally after that. She was an angel here on earth. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
