Dave Smith Obituary

Sadly we announce the passing of our loved one, Dave. He is predeceased by his Mother, Father, Brother and Sister.
He leaves behind his loving wife Carol; stepchildren Dan, Marla, Shannon, Shelley and Brenda. Nieces - Lorraine and Sharon; nephew Don (Micky); grandchildren; great nieces; and great nephews; great grandchildren and many friends.
Dave was born in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Vancouver at a young age. He took a course at the Lincoln Welding School to weld and repair electric welders and continued his welding in Vancouver.
Retired and moved to Campbell River and did some fishing and started a hobby in woodwork. He loved his shop and tools and spent many hours building some beautiful pieces.
Due to 2 years of health problems, Dave had to be put in the New Horizons Care Facility where he passed.
We want to thank Dr. Walker and the staff at New Horizons for the wonderful care while he was with them.
A celebration of life will be held for Dave at his stepdaughters home on 803 Cortes Road., Wed. Aug. 31st from 12-4.
