It is with great sadness, we acknowledge the passing of Dave Barber - a man of many talents and a brilliant mind
He was 18 when we met, and over the years we shared our passion for cars. His knowledge and expertise were a great asset when it came to my GTO and Model A.
You will be missed, Dave. Rest in peace my friend.

Dave Barber was like one of the family. He treated our youngest brother Pete like he was his own little brother. He would often drop by our house and if none of us kids were home he would just stay and visit with our parents. Dave was never at a loss for words, and always had a story to tell.

He could be the life of the party and had a "childlike" spirit of fun and adventure. He was also very kind and thoughtful and willing to share his expertise and help out. I have fond memories of time spent with Dave. He was spontaneous and would come by unexpectedly with treats or something he had picked up that he thought I could use. He would leave funny notes and cards taped to the windshield of my Volkswagen, which always brightened my day!

Dave worked hard and found a sense of accomplishment in restoring old homes and working on cars. He loved to socialize and will be missed and definitely remembered!

Dave was a very talented individual that I met somewhere along a dawntown street when 2 young men pulled up along my 69 Ford Cobra and wanted to look at it. Why not and over the years our paths crossed a few times and we had a lot of mutual interests. I visited him a few days before his passing and was so sad to hear that he was gone a few days later. I will miss him and he was a wonderful talented friend and I will miss him forever.

So very saddened to hear of Dave's passing.
Knew Dave for well over 20 years, we had a great buisness relationship and friendship all revolving around our mutual love for cars.
He always greeted me with his big smile and enthusiastic attitude whenever we met.
Always had such respect for his knowledge and attention to detail in everything he did.
Again so very sorry to his family and friends, rest easy my friend
