I came to know David and Irene through a shared exercise class attended by my husband and I in Sidney.
Irene used to shake her finger at my husband Rick in a mischievous manner with a smile on her face. David and I talked many times throughout our loved ones journey - a difficult time for both of us and being able to talk about it was helpful for both of us. His great love for Irene and all his family was so heartfelt and his interest in their lifes so evident. I´ll miss out talks and feel fortunate to have know him.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We knew him through the Saanich Peninsula Power Squadron where we all volunteered. He and Irene were good members of the Squadron, while he had "Linger".
