David Fanthorpe Obituary

FANTHORPE, David B. September 5, 1929 (Victoria, BC) - January 14, 2021 (Victoria, BC) Greatly missed by Joan, his dear wife of 62 years; friends Margaret & Brian Hewitt; along with many other friends. Dave was the Foreman Welder at Victoria Shipyards/Burrard Yarrows and retired at age 55. He was also a long time member at Gorge Vale Golf Club and had a trophy named for him for golfers who shot their age or better. Due to Covid 19, no service will be held at Joan's request.

We worked together for numerous years, on our times off, we went hunting and fishing. We have not seen each other after the closure of Yarrows Shipyard. My thoughts are with the family.
