David Friesen Obituary

FRIESEN, David (1922 - 2015) Together Again It is with sadness the family announces David's passing; a husband, father, grandparent and friend. He lived a full life and went peacefully when he was ready. A Veteran of the 2nd World War, Fort Gary Horse Armoured Division, his medals remain to remind us of the sacrifice he made as a young man. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. His loving wife Elizabeth went on ahead seven years ago. He leaves a void in the hearts of three children and seven grand children: Patricia Beaton (Mike - Kirsteen, Ryan); David Friesen (Linda - Abe, Yascha, and Phoebe); Lynne Kowalsky (Ken - Kenneth, Marie). A memorial service will be held at Royal Oak Garden Chapel at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015. No flowers. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
