David Graves Obituary
With deep sadness, our family shares the news of David Graves passing on December 17, 2025. David is survived by his wife, Cheri; daughter, Chelsea (Isaac); sister, Catherine (Richard); Cheri's children and grandchildren: Jason (Katie), Isla, and Owen; Jillien (Murray), Brayden, Brynley, Hudson, and Hunter; and his nieces, Jessica (Jordan), Noah, and Lucas, and Christina (Derrick), Sienna, Emily, and Ethan. David was predeceased by his beloved mother, Patricia (2012), and father, Ted (1999). David passed away suddenly at home from natural causes. Born in Victoria, David spent much of his life there and built a long, respected career in sales. For the past ten years, he worked at Howie's Car Corral, where his strong work ethic, integrity, fairness, and sense of humour made him a valued colleague and friend. David truly loved his job, the people he worked with, and his customers. David enjoyed time on the water and near the ocean, loved music, played guitar, and had a beautiful singing voice. He was sharp-minded and famously great at Jeopardy! Above all, David was a devoted family member and loyal friend, always present, caring, and kind. He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts. We are grateful for the many memories of David's warmth, caring nature, sense of humour, and his gift for making others feel at ease. We will carry his memory and values forward in our family, friendships, and community. David requested no service. Donations in his memory may be made to your local SPCA or a charity of your choice.
"We were born before the wind
Also, younger than the sun
'Ere the bonnie boat was won
As we sailed into the mystic."
