HILL, David James March 27, 1957 - August 23, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dave Hill in Hospice on August 23, 2012. He fought an amazing, fierce and inspirational 21 month battle against cancer. Dave will be missed by all who knew him especially by his loving wife Jody; daughter, Courtney; and son David. His sister-in-law, Barb; his brother-in-law, John; and niece, Kaitlin (McKenzie, BC). Dave has gone to join his mother, father, mother-in-law, and father-in-law. The family wishes to thank the entire CFB Esquimalt Fire Dept, Padre Jeannine Friesen, Dr. J.P. McGhie, Dr. Gail Saiger, all the wonderful nurses at Hospice and the fabulous volunteers, especially Lionel. Dave's funeral will be held on Saturday September 1, 2012 at 1:00pm, at the Naden Drill Shed, Building N75, Liverpool Street, Esquimalt, BC V9A 6N7.
